My website for Voyageur Country Imaging (www.voyageurcountryimaging.com) has taken me over 3 years. Granted I was not working on it constantly, still a lot of effort went into trying to make what was in my head work on a site. Eventually I switched hosts and a month after moving over to Photo Shelter the site is essentially done! There is some finishing work and some photo uploads but the heavy lifting is over. Not too bad for a guy with limited technical skills.
Now I can start to focus on my photography and expanding my portfolio. I have started using Thumbtack which links Professionals with Customers. You have to bid and pay a fee to send the bid to the potential client then hope they are interested before you can even talk to them. So far I have been able to set up 2 weddings and will be looking for more.
Open to shooting in the Twin Cities Metro Area as well as Greater Minnesota and Wisconsin. Also open to destination weddings and other destination photography shoots of all types.
